Live chat sessions with a tutor always starts out in free mode. This allows you to ask the tutor any question you may have about having them assist you. Once you feel comfortable with the tutor you may hire the tutor at their set per minute rate which in average is .17 cent a minute or $10.00 an hour. This fee is also negotiable by you and the tutor. You will not be charged until you click the "hire" button and you can stop the chat at anytime.
We also offer a web mail service which allows a student to request assistance from a tutor who is offline. In web mail session is you start by picking a tutor in the area you need assistance with and then start a request for their services. There you will be able to share with the tutor what you need help with, how soon you need help, and offer a price range of what you are willing to pay. Tutors will respond back to you within 24-48 hours about your request and let you know if they can assist you and if so, set a price for assisting you. This price is negotiable still. You then have the opportunity to either hire the tutor or make a request to another tutor. Once you hire the tutor of your choice you will then be charged by Get HomeWork Help for the services you asked for by the tutor. A tutor may charge you by time, by page, by math problem etc. Everything that is done through our site is absolutely free until you click the "hire" button.
Student Accounts - Signing up as a student is free. Your personal information is never given out by the site to any tutors our outside vendors. Your name, email address, house address, phone number, credit card information etc. is all kept confidentially on our secure server which only Get HomeWork Help administrators have access to. To further protect your privacy, we ask both students and tutors never to share personal information with each other through our site. To ensure confidentiality you must keep all transactions through our site rather than going offline.
Our goal here at Get HomeWork Help is to create a place where students of all ages can come and get help with any area of education they need, confidentially, when it's convenient, in the comfort of their own home. We must make it clear that we do not condone cheating, plagiarism, or purchased work of any kind through our site. Our Tutors - Our tutors do have to meet certain criteria to become a tutor. The criteria is that they must hold a degree in their respective field (8/10 times it will be a Masters Level Degree or higher), have experience (experience may out way the degree if it is substantial), and other factors may be included at our discretion to be eligible to be a tutor on our site.
Your Feedback Matters - We offer a feedback system that allows students to rate tutors based on their performance. When a tutoring session is complete, students rate tutors on a scale of 1 - 5, with 1 star meaning poor performance and 5 stars an excellent performance. The student will also be able to write in any comments they have about the tutor in the feedback. We monitor all feedback and if a tutor continues to not satisfy the students' needs and are underperforming their duties, they will be removed from the site. Though we get about 100 applications a day for tutors, we try to keep only the best bunch of tutors around for our students.
